The Mid-South District is excited to offer this year's ECC Conference June 17-18, 2024, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Memphis, TN. Mark your calendar for this educational event designed for educational hours (up to 8 total credit hours) with your states. Registration for the ECC Conference will be $50 per attendee. We have a block of rooms reserved at the Hampton Inn Memphis Poplar, 5320 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. It is located near Christ the King Lutheran, shopping and restaurants. The cost per room will be $125. The deadline for registration is May 15, 2024.
The theme for this year's conference:
Inspired by John 15:1-5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. Keynote presentations will be "Music Inspired Classrooms" and "Communicating with Parents Moving Forward". The University of Memphis (U of M) will present on early childhood brain development in a presentation titled "Make It Take It: Science for Toddlers and PreK" Other sessions will include STEM activities for toddlers, developing fine motor skills, behavioral strategies, emergency preparedness, and so much more.
