3L - Nashville

3L Summit is a FREE dynamic evangelism event for lay people, hosted by the Mid-South District, LCMS. Lay people from across the Mid-South District will be encouraged in their personal evangelism efforts by two LCMS pastors who are powerful speakers on the topic of gospel-sharing: Rev. Zach Zehnder (The Cross Church in Mount Dora, FL) and Rev. Chris Paavola (All Nations Church in University City, MO).

MAY 9 features a “meet and greet” time with the speakers from 7-9 PM at the nearby Hampton Inn (5630 Franklin Pike Circle / Brentwood TN 37027).

MAY 10 is the evangelism event at Our Savior Lutheran Church (5110 Franklin Pike / Nashville 37220) from 8:30 AM-3:15 PM, featuring engaging talks and fellowship. Lunch is provided for all attendees.

For anyone requiring an overnight stay on May 9, special hotel pricing has been arranged with the Hampton Inn (cost to be covered by attendee). Room-sharing is available for those who would like to split the cost with another attendee. Rev. Chris Paavola

Chris Paavola is a church-planting pastor in University City, Missouri, an inner belt city of metro St. Louis. After prayerwalking more than 100 miles through his community, Chris began efforts to plant “a church as diverse as the city it serves” called All Nations Church, with a mission of doing “whatever it takes so as many as possible can see Jesus.” In the first two years of ministry, All Nations Church grew from a family of four to a church of seven Small Groups, and celebrated 36 baptisms. Chris is the author of Pray What You See, and 40 Prayers to Launch. Chris and his wife Ashley are parents through adoption to three children, Selah, Isaiah, and Acacia.

Rev. Zachary Zehnder

Zach Zehnder completed his undergraduate work at Concordia University Wisconsin. It was there that he met his wife Allison, married in July 2004. From there, Zach earned his Masters of Divinity from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis in May 2010. In the same month Zach accepted a call as Associate Pastor/Church Planter at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Lake Mary, FL. As part of that call he has planted theCross in Mount Dora, FL. Through Zach’s leadership, creative ministry, and community outreach theCross has seen tremendous growth since its inception!
