The West Pastors Conference is fast approaching. Please share this information with any deacons, vicars or retired pastors in your congregation.

You will not be required to call the hotel for room reservations for this conference. The hotel requires a rooming list from the District. To assist us in making your reservations, please indicate your roommate and your date of arrival and departure on your registration form. Rooms are reserved for the conference through April 12, 2024. We must have your reservation by then. After that date, any rooms not reserved will be released back to the hotel.

PROGRAM The speaker will be The Rev. Dr. Chad Kendall with the theme, Conversations with Those Who Disagree with Us: An Ancient Apologetic that Invites Productive Dialogue.  Join Rev. Dr. Chad Kendall as he introduces an apologetic that engages people who may strongly disagree with us. The approach was used in the Patristic era by Clement of Alexandria (ca. 150-212AD), and others such as Athanasius, and Gregory of Nyssa. This topic is central to the Church's evangelism and missiological efforts today as we witness the increasing difficulty of having fruitful dialogue. In a world where people are so emotionally attached to their positions and ideologies, and conversation seems to be so difficult, Dr. Kendall will unpack some key themes and approaches that characterize this apologetic method as he provides examples from Scripture, Church history, and from his own conversations.

The Rev. William Cwirla will serve as the conference Chaplin and also be available for private confession.
